London Calling
London Calling

Artists had been given specific areas to paint in and by the end of the weekend the building resembled a very urban art gallery, with the walls on four or five levels, filled with a variety of styles and subjects. Apart from the artists painting, there were lots of photographers capturing the art pieces too. Street artists never know how long their pieces will last before they are covered over, so taking photos and making films is important for keeping a record.

If youd like to see some of the work from the weekend, take a look at the Instagram accounts of London Calling blog and some of the artists taking part - @ldn_calling_blog, Olivier Roubieu, @decolife1, @theskeletoncardboard, @nerone_lecoktail and Nurse Agnes.
